Buses replace trains between Perth and Inverness from Friday 22 to the morning Tuesday 26 March

Engineering work is taking place between Perth and Inverness, closing all lines from Friday to Monday inclusive.

Caledonian Sleeper:

The Friday evening and Sunday evening trains between London Euston and Inverness in both directions will be diverted to run via Aberdeen and Fife.

Replacement buses will run between Dundee and Carrbridge, calling at Perth, Dunkeld & Birnam, Pitlochry, Blair Atholl, Dalwhinnie, Newtonmore, Kingussie and Aviemore.

LNER:

Buses replace trains between Perth and Inverness.

On Friday, the 12:00 London Kings Cross to Inverness service will terminate at Perth. On Tuesday morning, the 07:55 Inverness to London Kings Cross service will start from Perth

ScotRail:

On Saturday, Sunday and Monday buses will replace trains between Perth and Inverness.

Brand-new Azuma trains are coming

We're delighted to announce our brand-new Azuma trains will be ready for passenger journeys from London King's Cross to Leeds from Wednesday 15 May 2019.

Improvement work at Berwick Station completed

Improvements at the station include a new Costa and Travelines outlet, an original ‘LNER’ drinking water fountain on the platform has been restored and the ticket office has been returned to its original position.
